Jody Koziol is the owner of Hold Your Horses and is a Certified Equine Specialist, EAP, EAL. She is a retired corporate professional and also brings to the table an education in Animal Science & Laboratory Technology. Jody has worked as a Veterinary Technician and in animal research studies at the University Medical Center. Her knowledge in animal husbandry and experience with horses since childhood makes her very receptive to how equines relate to individuals. She is certified through Equip 2 Equip as a StrengthsFinder Coach. Since 1998 she has worked with The Bridge Crisis Center for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
She married her high school sweetheart, Dan, and has three adult children. "The Friendly Four” are her equine partners at Hold Your Horses. Inspired by her connection with animals, Jody has developed a program and facility that offers new and innovative approaches for using horses in individual, family, and corporate wellness.
Horses have been a part of Annie's entire life. She grew up spending many hours in the barn and riding bareback on her buckskin, Bailey. Knowing she wanted to do something hands on, Annie enrolled at Omaha School of Massage Therapy. She completed her training as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2007. An outdoor woman at heart, she decided in 2015 that it was time for a change; from her serene massage therapy room to the beauty and spontaneity that comes from spending time in the pasture with her new coworkers.
Annie is married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan. They have two sons, two dogs, one cat, six chickens, and an occasional litter of foster puppies.
Annie officially joined the Hold Your Horses team in July of 2015. She is certified through Equip 2 Equip as a StrengthsFinder Coach.
